SPA Namyalo meets Bugisu Symposium organizing committee as event gains momentum

Kampala, (UG):- The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Manager, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo today [Thursday] met and held discussions with the organizing committee for the upcoming Bugisu Youth Symposium on strategies for the forthcoming symposium slated for September 12 at Mbale SS in Mbale City.

The meeting coordinated by the Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Duties, Mr David Mafabi at Kyambogo offices in Kampala aimed to ensure a warm welcome for President Museveni who will preside over the event as the Chief Guest.

During the meeting, the coordinators from the Bugisu region provided updates on the preparations and assured that despite a few challenges, everything is on track and the region is more than ready to welcome the President.

Hajjat Namyalo who is also the Senior Presidential Advisor and Political Assistant at ONC in her remarks urged politicians not to politicize the Symposium emphasizing that the event is focused on empowering young people.

She assured that attendees on the day can expect exceptional hospitality, as is the norm at events organized by the National Chairman’s office.

SPA Mafabi, who led the organizing committee stressed the importance of collaborating towards a common goal of patriotism and socioeconomic development. He said, the team on the ground and that in Kampala are doing all they can to ensure the event turns out a success.

Major Ema Kuteesa, who coordinates ghettos, shared that more than 12 Ghetto SACCOs will be launched at the symposium, as part of inspiring young people to embrace the formal economy.

He applauded Hajat Namyalo for bringing the Bazzukulu together and pledged full cooperation in transforming the youth of the nation.

The Bugisu Youth Symposium presents an opportunity for the youths to get empowered and equipped with the right tools and knowledge for wealth creation and sustainable development, aligning with the government’s vision for a prosperous Uganda.

This is the first symposium of its kind, organized by the National Chairman’s office with the President as the main speaker, for which Hajjat Namyalo, Mr David Mafabi, and Major Kuteesa urge all young people in the Bugisu region to attend this significant occasion, aimed at transforming their lives.
