Mbale ghetto leaders, ONC team meet as Bugisu readies to welcome Museveni at historical youth symposium

Mbale, (UG):- The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) team Sunday held a meeting with the Ghetto Youths at Courts View Hotel Mbale City as preparations continue for this week’s Bugisu Youth Symposium happening Thursday, 12th, at Mbale Senior Secondary School Grounds.

The ONC team from Kyambogo, led by the Public Relations Officer, Mr Kintu Moses reaffirmed to Mbale youths the office and NRM government’s commitment to achieving their agreed-upon goals. The team emphasized the importance of unity and focus in championing the youths in Masaba land.

Major Kuteesa Emma stressed the need to engage youths in various roles, enabling them to address their problems directly to H.E. and present their SACCOS.

Hon. Rita Namuwenge the National Coordinator for Emyooga aka Mama EMYOOGA emphasized the importance of togetherness, stating that everyone needs empowerment from H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and President and National Chairman of NRm, who will preside over the Symposium as the Chief Guest and Main Speaker.

Counsel JB Uhuru, the legal head at ONC highlighted the golden opportunity presented by the upcoming Bugisu Youth Symposium, calling for massive mobilization to ensure its success.

Finally, Chris Buyela, the Regional Coordinator ONC in Bugisu Subregion thanked the Ghetto Youths for their support and promised to work closely with them to make the event a success.

The meeting culminated in a unified commitment to making the Bugisu Youth Symposium a beneficial and empowering experience for the youths in Bugisu.
