Born and raised in western Uganda, Rwabwogo studied Economics and Political science at Makerere University for his first degree and later went to University of Wales Cardiff for- his Master’s degree in Media and Journalism studies. His entrepreneurial journey began at a young age.

With a keen eye for opportunity and a passion for innovation, he has ventured into various business endeavors registering his first business a Public Relations Firm TERP in 1998, eventually establishing the Rwabwogo Group of Companies (TOMOSI). This conglomerate has grown to encompass diverse sectors, including agriculture and security thus cementing Rwabwogo’s position as one of Uganda’s leading entrepreneurs.

Rwabwogo’s success is not solely measured by his business accomplishments. His dedication to philanthropy through his mentorship series to young people has made a significant impact on Ugandan youth and communities. He is a steadfast supporter of education initiatives, recognizing the transformative power of knowledge.

Rwabwogo’s leadership extends beyond his business and philanthropic endeavors. He serves on various boards and committees, contributing to economic development, trade, and investment initiatives. His expertise and vision at PACEID have seen a tremendous increase in export trade earning the country more revenue. In the year 2022-2023, there was $2.7b increase in exports. PACEID has also committed to taking this figure to $12b by 2027.

Odrek Rwabwogo’s legacy is a testament to the power of innovation, hard work, and generosity. He is a beacon of hope for Uganda’s future, he continues to inspire and empower many young Ugandans to make a positive impact.
