Kampala, (UG):- President Yoweri Museveni will on Tuesday 8th October 2024 address Muslim Women leaders across at the first-ever Uganda Muslim Women Leaders’ Conference.
The conference will take place at Old Kampala Secondary School in Kampala, Uganda’s capital.
The development was Sunday confirmed by the Deputy Press Secretary to His Excellency the President, Haji Faruk Kirunda.
“The President will address the Muslim Women on socio-economic empowerment,” Kirunda said.
Currently, the Uganda Muslim Women Council (UMWC) under the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) is being led by Hajat Sofia Kenyangi Safina.
