Police speak out on Spanish national nabbed with P.4 pupil in Entebbe lodge

Entebbe, (UG):- The Territorial Police in Kampala Metropolitan Thursday arrested a 38-year-old Spanish national who was caught red-handed with a primary four (P.4) pupil in his rented room in Entebbe.

Javier Jose, who is currently detained at Entebbe Police Station was nabbed with the girl (names withheld) is a pupil at Airforce Primary School at Katabi-Busambaga in Entebbe municipality.

Ther were bumped into by police authorities in a room near the school with the pupil still in her school uniform during school hours.

Speaking on the incident on Friday, Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Mr Patrick Onyango said the girl had left her food on the table when she disappeared to meet the Muzungu, prompting the teacher on duty to inquire about her whereabouts.

“Her colleagues revealed that she had exited the school with a foreigner, known locally as a ‘muzungu.’ The teacher alerted the headteacher, and together they launched a search. Locals pointed them in the right direction, leading them to a house where the girl and the muzungu were found,” Mr Onyango explained.

The KMP spokesman added that when the muzungu was confronted, he claimed that he was tutoring the girl in mathematics.

DailyExpress understands that officers from Entebbe Police Station, where the two are being kept had medical examinations conducted, and ruled out sexual intercourse between them as nothing had happened when they were intercepted.

Fred Ddamba, the deputy headteacher of Airforce Primary School declined to divulge details of the incident but confirmed that the pupil victim was studying from the said school.

But Onyango said the foreigner faces charges of abduction vide Ref: 68/17/10/2024 and is awaiting to be taken to court.
