Namisindwa, (UG):- Ceazer Zubeda Wasike, the leader of Impact Ministries International, a church founded by the late Bishop Patrick Okabe, has entered the race for Namisindwa Woman MP.
Zubeda, who is also the sister of Namisindwa District Chairman Jackson Wakweika, believes it is time for new leadership in the district, stating that the current leadership is not progressing well.
She emphasized that the district needs a tested and experienced administrator like herself to guide it to greater heights.
Known for her strong support in growing churches, Zubeda plans to mobilize churchgoers to embrace positive change that will create an impact in the community. The city pastor emphasized the need for honest and trustworthy leaders to be entrusted with leadership roles.
Zubeda joins Khalayi Peace, Khanakwa Sarah, the incumbent Namukhula Grace Watuwa, and Dorothy Walukawu in the race for the NRM flag.
Recently, Namisindwa residents, during a news broadcast on NBS Television, accused the current Woman MP of abandoning them. It remains unclear if the current MP will seek re-election.
