ONC’s Namyalo ignites music vibe, unwavering support for Carol Nantongo’s maiden concert

Kampala, (UG):- The Senior Presidential Advisor and National Coordinator Bazzukulu at ONC Kyambogo, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo has rallied Ugandans to turn up in big numbers in show of support for female musician Carol Nantongo at her maiden concert come December 6th at Hotel Africana in Kampala.

Popularly known as the Chief Muzzukulu, Hajjat Namyalo, a passionate advocate for the youth (popularly known as Bazzukulu) has since called on all the Bazzukulu and music enthusiasts to rally behind Carol Nantongo for her show to turn a success.

While addressing the media at ONC Kyambogo offices, Namyalo urged Ugandans to turn up in large numbers, emphasizing the importance of supporting local talent and celebrating Ugandan culture through music.

“Carol is not only a talented artist but also a representative of the values we cherish in Uganda. She is a true Muzzukulu of Jajja Kaguta Museveni, and her music speaks to the hearts of many Ugandans. Let’s come together and show her our love and support,” Namyalo said, emphasizing that “this concert is not just about entertainment; it’s about unity and pride in our own.”

She added; “I don’t know which excuse you can give for not supporting this beautiful lady here. Nantongo has proven to us that you can come from zero and get to the table of heroes. Her talent speaks volumes. It’s my humble appeal to all Ugandans out there that we support our sister Carol. Personally, I will be there for her, join me we fill her concert with a mega attendance.”

Carol Nantongo, formerly a member of the Golden Production Band has promised to thrill fans in celebration of her eye-catching music, culture, and production at the first-ever music concert she is holding since partying ways with former bosses at Golden Band.

She heaped praise on ONC’s Namyalo and HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for supporting them as musicians saying; “This is not the first time Hajjat Namyalo is supporting people like me, I am extremely happy that we have a mother like Namyalo, the music industry is purely appreciative for your lenient shoulder you’ve continuously given us as musicians to lean on.”

Known for her soulful voice and captivating performances, the “Kameese Tambula” has since 2014 captured the hearts of Ugandans and earned a place as one of the most beloved singers in the country. She further thanked her fans for loving her passionately for this while she has been in the music industry where she is about to mark 10 years ever since she got her first hit song.

“Team Carol Nantongo and my beloved Fans, You have supported and encouraged me to this day. I really thank God and I can never take you for granted. Muli badala ate nyo. Am thrilled to announce, my long-awaited maiden concert is here. Mark your calendars on (6th.DEC.2024 ) and prepare for an unforgettable night of music and emotions as I sing my heart out to you my special fans.”

Organized by KT Events & Beyond, will take place at Hotel Africana in Kampala on December 6, 2024, and a second dose two days later on December 8, 2024 at Maria Flo in Masaka. See poster below for ticket prices.

Nantongo’s music is a testament to her versatility and artistry. She is known for her songs like Mulimuki, Tinkalila, Oliwa, Ndabula, Tosalawo, Embelenge, Solome, Ensonga, Ndagilira, Ompuuba, Gwe Wange, Kaweddemu, Sirwana, Kamese Tambula, Ontuuka, and many others.

Throughout her career, Nantongo has achieved several significant milestones that have affirmed her status as a musical inspiration in Uganda with recognition at the Uganda Entertainment Awards, where she received nominations and accolades for her outstanding contributions to the music industry.
