NRM diehard Kizito Moses Nsubuga vows to unseat Lukwago as Kampala Lord Mayor

Kampala, (UG):- Kizito Moses Nsubuga, a diehard supporter of the ruling National Resistance Movement in Kampala has officially launched his campaign for the position of Lord Mayor of Kampala, with a vision to transform the country’s capital.

Running on the slogan “Our City, Your City, My City,” Kizito Moses aka Mayor says he is ready to bring new energy to the role and deliver changes he believes are essential for Kampala’s growth and modernization.

In his poster released via his official social media channels, Kizito, who has become a household name in the Ghettos of Kampala and beyond expressed his commitment to making Kampala a thriving, inclusive city.

“Let’s make Kampala a capital city again,” he emphasized, stressing his unending desire to restore the city’s status as a vibrant and respected capital.

The NRM diehard fan pledges to work towards solutions to the challenges facing Kampala, including infrastructure development, traffic congestion, and public services.

Known for his dedication to the people and his ambitious vision, Kizito is calling on the residents of Kampala to support his bid for change. If elected, the ONC Coordinator for Kampala Region promises to focus on key areas like improved city planning, better public transportation, and enhanced city cleanliness. His goal is to create a capital city that all Ugandans can take pride in.

Kizito’s entry into the race sets the stage for a competitive election, as he seeks to unseat incumbent Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, who has held the position since 2011.

With the election set for 2026, Kizito’s campaign is expected to bring fresh perspectives and spark important discussions about the future of Kampala. As he rallies support, the city will watch closely to see if his vision can resonate with voters and bring about the transformation he envisions.
