ONC Coordinators, Bazzukulu in Kakumiro cleanup campaign ahead of Museveni’s visit

Kampala, (UG):- In a heartwarming show of unity and love for Jajja, President Museveni’s Bazzukulu in Kakumiro District Thursday embarked on a clean-up campaign of Igayaza Town in Kakumiro as the area prepares to welcome the Fountain of Honour, tomorrow, Friday, November 15, 2024.

Under the leadership of the Office of the National Chairman Manager, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, the Bazzukulu were Thursday joined by ONC Coordinators, as they carried out a thorough general cleaning initiative to polish the streets of the area just a day to the President’s visit to the area, where he will be launching the four-acre model at Kikwaya playgrounds.

“The scene in Kakumiro is electric, with residents buzzing with excitement and pride as they prepare to welcome the President. The Bazzukulu’s enthusiastic procession and general cleaning have transformed the town, leaving streets sparkling and spirits high,” said Hakim Kyeswa, the Head of Digital Media at ONC who is also part of the team on the ground in Kakumiro District.

“Area residents and children have joined in, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with hope and anticipation,” Kyeswa added, describing the scene in Kakumiro as of Thursday afternoon.

The President’s visit tomorrow, according to Kyeswa is a mega event which promises to be a monumental occasion, and Kakumiro is eager to showcase their hard work and dedication.

“As the countdown to President Museveni’s arrival continues, Kakumiro stands united, ready to embrace this historic moment,” the ONC Digital Media boss added.

The President is expected to tour some of the wealth creation activities and projects that model farmers have come up with in that part of the country.
