Two teenage girls arrested for over murder of ‘cheating’ loverboy

Apac, (UG):- The Territorial Police in Apac District on Monday arrested two teenage girls in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old boy whom they accused of cheating and having intercourse with both of them.

The girls, aged 16 and 18 years, allegedly assaulted Calvin Willy Olara at a disco hall in Acenglyet Trading Centre on Sunday night, accusing him of using both of them.

Apac District Police Commander Rodgers Kapere confirmed the incident and said that investigations are already underway.

“I went on the ground myself with my team of detectives, and we have already commenced the investigations. We have these girls for questioning because it’s like they are trying to cover up something,” he said.

One of the suspects, DailyExpress understands, is a Senior Four leaver who has just returned home for vacation. The two are currently being held at Apac Central Police Station.

Eyewitnesses say the incident began when Olara who was in a romantic relationship with one of the suspects was caught red-handed by her lover in a s3xual action with her best friend.

“The two girls allegedly mobilised and beat Olara severely, accusing him of cheating and having sexual intercourse with both of them,” an eyewitness recounts.

Some residents of the area, however, are still trying to come to terms with the incident, with some expressing skepticism that the girls could have carried out the attack alone. ‘

“These girls are young, and with the injuries inflicted on the deceased, we expect them to have used some strong men who helped them in killing this boy,” Rodgers Akena, a resident of the area said.
