Reformed Generation of Pastors, ONC partner to host National Pastors’ Conference

Kampala, (UG):- The Reformed Generation of Pastors and Preachers Association (RGPPA), a fast-growing organization of visionary pastors, is set to host the National Pastors’ Gathering on December 4, 2024.

Organized in collaboration with the Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC) under the leadership of Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the event promises to be a defining moment for the Pentecostal Church in Uganda.

The gathering will be held at Freedom Church Kalerwe, on the outskirts of Kampala, bringing together over 500 delegates (Pastors) in what is anticipated to be a landmark event for Uganda’s religious community.

Led by Apostle Benson Kayondo, the Senior Pastor of Dynamite Church in Bukoto and Kireka, RGPPA is spearheading transformative reforms within the Church with the association now comprising over 1,000 registered churches with commitment to fostering wealth creation and compliance with national laws.

“We believe this event will be a turning point for the Church in Uganda,” said Apostle Kayondo during his courtesy visit at ONC earlier thus week.

“Our mission is to empower pastors to be agents of change in their communities, and this gathering will provide a platform for collaboration and shared vision.”

The National Pastors’ Gathering aims to bring together pastors from across Uganda to address pressing challenges faced by emerging young preachers and find a common position on these issues. Discussions will revolve around leadership, wealth creation, and navigating Uganda’s regulatory framework for religious institutions.

This website understands that there will also be free legal services offered to pastors and delegates attending the conference next Wednesday.

SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye praised the initiative, saying after meeting leaders if the group. “This partnership reflects our shared vision of an empowered and cohesive Uganda. The Church plays a critical role in shaping our communities, and we are proud to support their endeavors,” she said.

“Preaching the gospel should be accompanied wealth creation to foster National development.”

The collaboration with ONC is an indication of the government’s commitment to supporting religious leaders in their efforts to contribute to national development.
