The Paramount Chief (Wonyaci) of Lango, Yosam Odur Ebii has appointed Uganda’s ambassador to France, Amb. Doreen Ruth Amule as the Minister of Ethics and Integrity and former Ugandan envoy to Canada, Amb. Aceng Joy Ruth as the Special Envoy to the Diaspora.
Information Minister Jacob Ocen confirmed the significant appointments of the duo to the Wonyaci cabinet saying the move is aimed at enhancing cultural development and strengthening Lango’s global connections.
“The two ambassadors bring a wealth of experience that will contribute to building and strengthening cultural institutions in Lango. Their leadership is expected to foster unity, promote cultural heritage, and expand Lango’s reach globally,” Ocen said.
He added that these appointments reflect Yosam Odur Ebii’s vision of leveraging expertise to uplift the Lango community.
The duo will join the newly approved ministers and new cabinet members. They include Prime Minister Frederick Ogwal Oyee, First Deputy Premier Levi Okodi, Patrick Abal, Julius Peter Motto, Ceaser Omach Ario, Ojok Okello Paul and others.
