Mengo, (UG): Buganda Land Board has emerged as the winner of this year’s Buganda Kingdom Entities Sports Gala, an annual competition that brings together all forms and agencies under the Kingdom.
The 2024 Buganda Kingdom Sports Gala took place Sunday, December 1st at Lubiri Mengo as the Kingdom companies battled for the coveted title of “champions”
Buganda Land Board, having earned the most points in the games competed in, was announced the winner, beating all its competition.
The Katikkiro of Buganda Owek.Charles Peter Mayiga while handing over the champions trophy to BLB team led by CEO Simon Kaboggoza thanked them for ably competing and emerging as champions.
Mayiga, however, empathized that the goal of the competition is to bring together all Kingdom employees in different sectors so that they know each other and build togetherness and therefore thanked all those who took part in the games.
This year’s games were organized by CBS fm. Next year’s games will be organized by Muteesa I Royal University.
