ONC Manager Namyalo rallies Bazzukulu for Aviators’ Run to support HIV/AIDS fight

Kampala, (UG):- The Senior Presidential Advisor and Manager of Office of the National Chairman, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye has urged Ugandans to be part of the Aviators’ Run, a charity marathon aimed at raising awareness and prevention of HIV/AIDS in Uganda.

The run, organized in partnership with The AIDS Support Organization (TASO), will take place this Sunday, December 8th, at the UMA Show Grounds at Lugogo, in Kampala.

The aim of this run, DailyExpress understands, is to raise UGX 1 billion to prevent mother-to-child transmission by supporting expectant mothers living with HIV/AIDS, and promote youth mindset change through nationwide HIV prevention camps.

Speaking to the media at Kyambogo Offices on Tuesday afternoon, SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo rallied Ugandans to participate in the run, emphasizing the importance of responsible living and the dangers of unprotected sex.

“This is not just a marathon; it is a movement to support our mothers and protect our youth. We all have a role to play in fighting HIV/AIDS, and through this initiative, we can save lives while spreading hope,” she said after meeting the team.

The event runs from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offering a chance to contribute to a meaningful cause while enjoying a fun-filled day.

The winners of this marathon in the 5km, 3km, and 2km races will each receive a scenic flight around Kampala.
