Soroti, (UG):- In a major development for Gweri County in Soroti District, Hon. Elimu Richard, commonly known as “The Gweri Yellow Boy,” has been appointed Secretary of the Patriotic League of Uganda, Teso sub-region, by General Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
The prestigious appointment confirmed by PLU Secretary General, Hon David Kabanda in a letter dated Tuesday, 17th December 2024 is a testament to Gweri’s growing influence and Elimu’s exceptional leadership abilities.
As PLU Secretary, Elimu will play a key role in shaping the league’s agenda and promoting the group’s objectives in the Teso sub-region.
Gweri’s community is ecstatic about this appointment, recognizing the immense benefits it will bring to the area.
