Minister Kabuye Kyofa spreads Christmas love, hope in Nakaseke

Nakaseke, (UG):- In a heartwarming gesture, the Minister of State for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs Hon. Kabuye Kyofatogabye Friday demonstrated true leadership by taking time to engage with the elders of Nakaseke Central, bringing smiles, hope, and a powerful message of unity.

Among those visited by the minister was Jajja Nalugo of Kito Village, a blind elder who was deeply moved and shocked by the unexpected visit.

As part of his day’s activities, Hon. Kyofa launched a transformative initiative to empower women aged 45 and above, especially grandmothers. He surprised them with beautiful gomesi outfits and financial support to tailor and wear them with pride.

To add to the day’s blessings, he distributed calendars to the community, encouraging everyone to embrace the new year with organization and hope.

In his speech, Hon. Kyofa appealed to the younger generation to remember the importance of showing love and care to our elders, reminding them that we will all be in their shoes one day. His message resonated deeply as he called for unity, compassion, and shared responsibility in the community.

He also took the opportunity to urge voters to trust and support President Museveni more than ever, emphasizing the benefits of Musevenomics and urging the youth to seize opportunities in programs like PDM (Parish Development Model) and Emyooga for economic empowerment.

As he wished the mothers and grandmothers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, the atmosphere was filled with gratitude, joy, and celebration. Hon. Kyofa’s actions today showcased not just his dedication to development but also his ability to connect with people on a deeply personal level.
