Kagadi, (UG):- The leader and founder of the Faith of Unity, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka, has called upon believers and residents of Kagadi District in western Uganda to prioritize efforts in starting small industries.
Bisaka made the remarks at the closure of a three-day function held in Madudu Sub-parish, Twerire Village, Galiboleka Sub-parish, Kagadi District. The event was attended by believers of the Faith of Unity and local citizens who gathered to welcome their leader.
During the event, Owobusobozi Bisaka visited his Kampyemi Bukwenda for the three-day visit, during which over 128 people from various religions joined the Faith of Unity as new staff members were inaugurated. This growth has significantly strengthened the Faith’s grassroots in the region.
Speaking at the event, which ran from December 23 to 26, 2024, in Twerire Village (Kampyemi Bukwenda Archdiocese), an area once known for witchcraft, Owobusobozi Bisaka emphasized the importance of oneness to eliminate disunity caused by religious and tribal differences while promoting development initiatives.
He also highlighted why the Faith and its believers support President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and praised the government’s achievements in maintaining peace, security, and freedom, which have fostered the growth of the Faith of Unity.
“If it weren’t for President Museveni investigating the propaganda spread in the 1980s and 1990s by those who opposed the Faith and my work, we would not have achieved this progress. We thank the President and will always support him. As believers of the Faith of Unity, we all belong to the NRM,” Owobusobozi stated.
The leader’s teachings inspired many attendees to join the Faith. Several individuals were healed of spiritual and physical ailments at no cost, including a man who had been suffering from madness for years. Those healed expressed gratitude to Owobusobozi Bisaka and requested further blessings.
New converts not only joined the Faith of Unity but also the ruling NRM party, as one of the Faith’s objectives is to support the government. “You cannot be a believer of the Faith of Unity without subscribing to the NRM,” he emphasized.
Bisaka also distributed the Faith’s calendar, which designates three days of rest per month for believers to praise and worship God.
After completing his visit to Kampyemi, Owobusobozi Ruhanga will embark on a visit to his Bukwenda Kiboga area from December 29 to 31, 2024, where he will continue his teachings and mobilization efforts in support of President Museveni. Owobusobozi’s work continues tirelessly throughout the year.
