How excessive masturbation claimed life of Canadian national in Mombasa

Mombasa, KE:– Tragedy struck Bamburi Base in Mombasa, Kenya after a 66-year-old Canadian national, Gregory John Kilgour, was found dead in his bedroom under circumstances authorities have linked to excessive masturbation.

Authorities Monday said Mr Kilgour’s lifeless body was discovered by his wife, 33-year-old Judith Awuor Oduor, who alerted local police.

According to Ms Oduor, marital disputes had caused the couple to live in separate bedrooms for over a year. Concerned for her husband’s well-being, she decided to check on him, only to find him unresponsive.

“It was reported today by one Judith Awuor Oduor, a Luo female adult aged 33 years, ID no. 29759387, residing in Shanzu, that at around 0200 hours, her husband, Gregory John Kilgour, a 66-year-old Canadian male, was watching pornographic videos on his laptop and eventually masturbated to his last breath while in his room,” read in part a police report on the tragic incident:

Mr Kilgour, according to preliminary police findings, was found lying on his bed, his left hand gripping his genitals, while pornographic content continued playing on his laptop.

“The case has been classified as a sudden death and is being handled by the DCI Kisauni unit,” the statement read.

The couple had been married but reportedly lived in separate bedrooms due to trust issues, as noted by Ms Oduor.

Investigators have stated there were no immediate signs of foul play on the deceased’s body, but a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine whether any underlying health conditions contributed to his death. His body has since been transported to Jocham Hospital Morgue.

The unusual and tragic incident has sparked conversations about health risks associated with such private acts, particularly for older individuals or those with pre-existing medical conditions.

Medical experts warn that excessive physical exertion during heightened moments of physical activity could lead to fatal events like cardiac arrest or stroke, especially for those with undiagnosed health issues.

As authorities continue their investigations, the public eagerly awaits the autopsy results to shed more light on the exact cause of Kilgour’s death.
