Masindi, (UG):- Ms Hilda Rwabugaya, the manager of Stanbic Bank Masindi branch is dead after collapsing in the bathroom at her residence in Masindi town.
Rwabugaya died on January 8, 2024, at about 9:00 am at Masindi Kitara Medical Centre where he had been referred for immediate medical attention.
Local reports say she was found unconscious in her bathroom by the tenants who rushed her to Supreme Medical Centre in Masindi town and later to Kitara Medical where she died on arrival.
“The doctors referred us to Kitara Medical Centre, but after reaching the facility Rwabugaya died,” said one of the neighbours. “She has been a very cooperative and loving lady who had no grudge with anyone.”
“It’s terrible news. We have lost someone who would help us a lot whenever we approached her, especially the people of Bujenje,” Julius Kahira, the former district councillor, who also hails from the same village, said.
By press time on Wednesday afternoon, Rwabugaya’s body was still at the same facility pending further postmortem.
