UNEB 2024: How to check your PLE Results using phone

Kampala, (UG): Uganda’s Examination Body (UNEB) Thursday released the official results from the 2024 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results in an event officiated by the Education Minister Janet Kataha Museveni at the State House, Nakasero in Kampala.

While releasing the results, UNEB Executive Secretary, Mr Dan Odongo said the 2024 PLE results are now accessible on the examination centre Portals and each school can download their results as soon as possible.

Similarly, Mr Odongo said candidates and parents can also access the results by SMS on their phones or via the internet. This is possible by simply following the steps below

How to check 2024 PLE results by SMS?

1. You can get your 2024 PLE PLE Results for any candidate in a few simple steps.
2. In your message box, type PLE <space> INDEX NUMBER and send it to 6600.
{For example PLE 654321/001 AND SEND TO 6600.}
You will receive an SMS at a cost of UGX 500 per candidate

With the results now out, UNEB said District, Municipal and City Inspectors of Schools can as well collect hard copies of the results from UNEB offices at Ntinda from Monday, 27th January. 2025.

“No copies of results are available as of now. Parents, candidates and other interested parties may use the Short Messaging Service (SMS) on mobile networks, which will post the results of candidates on their mobile sets instantly,” Mr Odongo explained.

The 2024 PLE Results is the first set of exams to be released by UNEB, with UCE Results of 2024 Examinations awaiting to be released in the coming weeks.
