Bushenyi, (UG):- Parental Care Primary School has set an inspiring example of gender inclusivity and empowerment in education.
Out of the 81 candidates who sat for the 2024 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), an impressive 50 were female students, highlighting the school’s dedication to promoting equal opportunities for girls in education.
This outstanding participation of girls not only reflects the school’s commitment to addressing gender disparities in education but also showcases their academic capability.

The female candidates performed exceptionally well, with many achieving Division 1 grades. Standout performers among the girls include Atukwatse Isabellah, Mucho Tyra, and Ashaba Queen Mary, who scored aggregate 5 and 6, demonstrating academic excellence in all core subjects.
The school’s director, Mrs. Nshemereirwe Elvaida attributed this success to the school’s holistic approach, where both boys and girls are given equal opportunities to excel.
At the school, programs encouraging parental involvement, teacher mentorship, and a focus on girl-child education have played a significant role in this achievement.

Parental Care Primary School’s commitment to gender inclusivity and academic excellence stands as a shining example for other schools in the region. By empowering girls through education, the school is not only transforming individual lives but also contributing to the broader goal of societal development.
