Moyo, (UG):- A video of West Moyo County Member of Parliament, Hon. Alero Tom Aza, has left Ugandans talking after the West Nile legislator was filmed performing 30 push-ups to show his voters how he’s still physically fit to continue representing them at the August House.

The lawmaker, who is seeking re-election in the 2026 general elections, took on the challenge in front of a crowd of supporters, demonstrating his strength and energy.

The video, which has since circulated widely on social media, has drawn mixed reactions, with some applauding his determination while others questioned whether physical fitness is a key factor in leadership.

His act comes at a time when many politicians are gearing up for the 2026 elections, using various tactics to win over voters.

While some opt for campaign rallies and policy promises, Alero chose a unique approach—proving that he still has the stamina to endure the demands of legislative work.

Even as Uganda prepares for the next elections, Tim Alero’s push-up display has set a new precedent. It shows that in politics, creativity and engagement matter as much as policies and promises.
