Khaukha Emmanuel elected 8th Victoria University Guild President

Kampala, (UG):- Khaukha M.A Emmanuel, a third-year Bachelor of Pharmacy student has been elected as the 8th Guild President of Victoria University.

Khaukha was declared the winner of the 2025 guild presidential elections after garnering 2,669 votes, making up 75.8% of the total 3,522 votes cast. His main opponent, Mr. Mugundho Robin Percy, received 856 votes, which is 24.4% of the vote.

Victoria University congratulated Khauka on his win and extended their best wishes to him and the newly elected Guild Cabinet.

“We congratulate Khauka M.A. Emmanuel on being elected as the Guild President,” the university posted. “We also extend our best wishes to him and the entire newly elected Guild Cabinet as they begin their tenure.”

“May they have a successful and impactful time in office, driving positive change and progress for the student body,” the university statement concluded.

In a message following his victory, Khaukha expressed his gratitude and commitment to serving the university. “I am honoured to be the 8th Guild President of Victoria University,” he tweeted.

“With God as my guide and your overwhelming support, I will lead with authenticity and take Victoria University to new heights.”
