The Vice Chancellor of Victoria University shared heartwarming news through social media platform X revealing how, Nelly Muganga, a Grade 8 student, was selected by the prestigious University of Toronto (UofT) in partnership with the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) to begin taking university classes this summer.
“I am absolutely over the moon as I share this wonderful news with you all. My 13-year-old daughter, Nelly, who is in Grade 8, has just been selected by the University of Toronto in partnership with the Toronto Catholic District School Board to start taking classes this summer. This is such a huge honor and recognition of her hard work and academic excellence,” Prof. Muganga stated, celebrating his birthday in style.
“Honestly, I thought my birthday and Valentine’s Day could not get any better, but Nelly’s acceptance has taken this year’s celebrations to a whole new level,” he added.
Prof. Muganga took the moment to shower praise on his daughter, calling her a “brilliant and inspiring young mind”, while expressing profound gratitude to the University of Toronto and the Toronto Catholic District School Board for recognizing and supporting Nelly’s potential.
