ONC pledges support for Marhaba Dawa’s free medical camp

Kampala, (UG):- President Museveni’s Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC) has pledged support for an upcoming medical camp organized by Marhaba Dawa & Charity Organisation, known for its community outreach programs across the country.

The Medical camp is expected to take place in July this year, with the exact date and venue set to to revealed soon.

Speaking at the Organization’s Corporate Iftar Dinner on Saturday at Thobani Centre in Kampala, the ONC Manager, SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye emphasized ONC’s dedication to community health initiatives.

She assured Marhaba Dawa & Charity Organisation of ONC’s support, stating that their medical desk would supply medical provisions and expert consultants for the event.

“We recognize the importance of this medical camp in serving our people, and I want to assure you that ONC will be part of this noble cause. Through our medical desk, we will provide the necessary medical supplies and specialists to ensure its success,” Hajjat said, adding that lobbying for supplies will include condoms.

To kickstart the support for the medical camp, Chief Muzzukulu Hadijah contributed Shs1 million towards the camp’s preparations and promised further financial assistance.

“This is just the beginning. I will continue to support this cause because it fits in our vision of an inclusive, healthy, and empowered nation,” she added.

The dinner also served as a send-off for Muslims embarking on Hajj to Mecca.
