Despite their early struggles, the Crocs came out of halftime with renewed intensity, making key adjustments to their game plan.

Under Coach Rogers Sserunyigo’s guidance, the Crocs tightened their defence and improved their offensive flow, outscoring the Rockets in the final two quarters to secure the victory.

Deng Chuol, the Crocs’ standout new signing, was instrumental in the win, contributing 17 points and 13 rebounds. His all-around performance helped the Crocs regain control of the game.

Cyrus Wobusobozi added 13 points and 4 rebounds, providing much-needed scoring in the second half.

Deng Jioka, known for his rebounding skills, grabbed 13 boards and scored 8 points, playing a crucial role in dominating the paint and limiting the Rockets’ second-chance opportunities.

Despite a strong effort from the Rockets, especially in the first half, they were unable to hold onto their lead. Key individual performances from their side fell short as the Crocs’ team effort in the second half proved decisive.

The Rockets struggled to convert crucial possessions down the stretch, allowing the Crocs to close out the game.

Late on Saturday, the KCCA Panthers also secured their first win of the season, defeating the Rezlife Saints 56-53.

Earlier in the week, the Namuwongo Blazers won a hard-fought season opener against the City Oilers, edging them 81-80.
