Mengo, Buganda:– Central Uganda Youth Member of Parliament aspirant Mr Kimuli Louis Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Buganda Kingdom headquarters at Bulange, Mengo, and bought kits worth 4 million shillings as organizations, companies, and individuals continue to support the annual Kabaka’s Birthday Run.
Upon receiving the kits on the afternoon, Owek. Robert Sserwanga, the Buganda Kingdom Minister for Youth and Sports Affairs, commended Kimuli for heeding the Kabaka’s call. “We appreciate Mr. Kimuli’s generosity and urge other leaders to emulate this gesture in supporting the King’s initiatives,” Sserwanga stated.
On his part, Kimuli emphasized his commitment to youth empowerment and community health. “As a young leader and an aspiring representative for the Central Region, I felt compelled to participate in this year’s Kabaka’s Run to support health services,” he said.
Kimuli also pledged his continued support for Buganda Kingdom’s initiatives and encouraged the youth to actively participate in the run, not only to promote the event’s theme—Fighting HIV/AIDS—but also to maintain physical fitness.

Known for his youth empowerment campaigns, Kimuli has been vocal about creating opportunities for young people to achieve self-reliance. His latest contribution underscores his dedication to both youth development and community health.
He, therefore, urged young people across the Central Region and beyond to participate in the Kabaka’s Birthday Run, not only to promote fitness but also to contribute to the noble cause of combating HIV/AIDS.
The Kabaka’s Birthday Run, an annual event aimed at raising awareness and funds for critical health issues in Uganda, will focus on HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment this year. Thousands of participants are expected to join the run in solidarity for the cause.
