Lira RCC commends ONC team for advancing Gov’t programs in Lango

Lira City, Uganda: The Resident City Commissioner (RCC) of Lira City, Mr. Egole Lawrence, has applauded the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) for its outstanding contribution to the effective implementation of government programs across the Lango sub-region.

Speaking on Saturday, June 14, during the swearing-in of newly elected NRM structural leaders in the region, Mr. Egole praised the ONC team for their consistent monitoring and support in delivering government services.

“I want to commend the ONC team for the good work they have done in ensuring that government projects are delivered efficiently and effectively in our region. Their efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we are grateful for their service,” Mr. Egole stated.

He urged the NRM leadership in Lango to work closely with the ONC under the stewardship of the regional coordinator, Ms. Langol Prossy, whom he credited for exceptional commitment to service delivery.

“We urge the NRM to work with the ONC to ensure that our region continues to thrive and grow. Ms. Langol Prossy and her team have shown great dedication, and we believe that together, we can achieve even more,” he added.

Ms. Langol has been hailed by both party and community leaders for her dynamic leadership in mobilizing communities and coordinating ONC interventions to reach intended beneficiaries.

Mr. Egole’s remarks were echoed by several regional stakeholders who see enhanced synergy between ONC and NRM party structures as a critical step towards accelerating socio-economic transformation in the Lango sub-region.

“We are committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure that Lango remains a prosperous place for all its residents. We look forward to a fruitful partnership with the NRM and ONC,” Mr. Egole concluded.
