Nassolo Sharon Umutoni shares a light moment with Ms Benita Nabukenya at her graduation celebration in Kiboga District

Kiboga, Uganda: Nassolo Sharon Umutoni, the aspiring Youth Member of Parliament for Central Region, has called on Uganda’s youth to champion education and collective empowerment as pillars for the country’s transformation.

Nassolo made the remarks while officiating at the graduation celebration of Ms Benita Nabukenya, the Chairperson of the NRM Youth League in Kiboga District, a gathering marked by pride, unity, and shared purpose.

“Leadership is not just about holding positions, it is about inspiring, uplifting, and empowering others to achieve their fullest potential,” the Youth MP aspirant told the jubilant audience.

She hailed Nabukenya’s academic success as a testament to resilience and determination, adding that when one youth succeeds, the entire community advances.

Nassolo’s presence at the ceremony reaffirmed her commitment to transcending political lines to support all youth across Buganda and beyond. She urged young Ugandans to celebrate each other’s milestones and work together to overcome common challenges.

“This graduation is a reminder that our shared future is bigger than our differences. Let us lead with purpose, learn without ceasing, and serve with humility,” she said.

Throughout her campaign as Central Youth MP, Nassolo has championed youth empowerment through education, entrepreneurship, mental health awareness, and leadership development. In Kiboga, she re-echoed her promise to stand with young leaders in every district, from rural parishes to urban centers.

The event also created a platform for emerging youth leaders to network, share ideas, and forge collaborations aimed at building stronger, more resilient communities.

As she continues her engagements across the Central Region, Nassolo’s message remains consistent: Uganda’s progress depends on an empowered generation ready to shape the country’s destiny with courage and conviction.
