Kampala, Uganda: Celebrated singer George Hassan Kigozi alias Geosteady and renowned music producer Didi are recovering steadily at a rehabilitation centre, where they have been undergoing treatment for over six months.
A recent video shared on social media captured the two singing and vibing together, looking visibly happier and healthier compared to their troubled pasts before entering rehab.
According to close sources, Producer Didi was admitted to rehabilitation after opening up about his recent HIV diagnosis, a condition he made public after receiving his results.
While he initially appeared to have accepted the diagnosis, months later, the emotional toll became evident as he lashed out on social media in frustration.
For Geosteady, the battle was different. The singer had been struggling with drug addiction, and entering rehab was part of his commitment to reclaim his life and become a better father to his children, whom he shares with different mothers.
Fans across the country have continued to pray and show support for the two artists, hoping they will fully recover and return to the music industry stronger and better prepared to deliver the hits they are known for.
