Kampala, Uganda: Victoria University Vice Chancellor Prof. Lawrence Muganga has assured new students and parents that the institution will deliver on its promise of quality, practical education as the university records one of its biggest enrolments ever for the July–August 2025 intake.
Prof. Muganga delivered the assurance in a heartfelt message posted on Saturday, July 19, 2025, via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, reaffirming the university’s commitment to providing an education rooted in technology, innovation, and real-world application.
“To all our dear students who have chosen Victoria University in such remarkable numbers, thank you. Your decision fills us with pride and a deep sense of purpose,” Muganga wrote. “We will not let you down.”
The transformational educationist also thanked parents, guardians, Ugandans, and international friends who continue to make Victoria University their destination of choice for higher learning, describing their trust as a responsibility the institution carries with seriousness and humility.
The remarks came as Victoria University celebrates enrolling record numbers for the July–August intake 2025, with hundreds of students joining the institution from Uganda and beyond.
The university, known for its innovative academic model and emphasis on work-integrated learning, has positioned itself as a leading hub for technology-driven education, entrepreneurship, and leadership training.
Prof. Muganga emphasized that Victoria University’s programs are designed to empower learners to excel in a competitive world through practical skills, confidence-building, and purpose-driven education.
