Kampala, Uganda: Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the Senior Presidential Advisor and head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), has once again thrown her weight behind Uganda’s sports talent with purchase of tickets worth over UGX 4 million to support rising boxing sensation Alex Kanaabi ahead of his Saturday fight.

Kanaabi will take on Neric Bulaabe in the Uganda Boxing Champions League (Week 7) slated for this Saturday, July 26, 2025, at MTN Arena Lugogo.

Speaking to the media from her ONC offices at Kyambogo shortly after handing out her contribution, Hajjat Namyalo emphasized that her gesture was part of her broader efforts to support youth empowerment through sports and promote homegrown talent capable of representing Uganda on global platforms.

“My advice to Kanaabi is simple; focus on short, explosive hits like Mike Tyson. Those knockouts under one minute make history and leave a mark,” Namyalo, popularly known as Chief Muzzukulu, stated, urging the young boxer to aim for decisive victories.

Kanaabi’s clash with Bulaabe comes at a time when the Uganda Boxing Champions League continues to dominate national sports conversations as it edges closer to its season climax.

Hajjat Namyalo’s contribution reinforces her well-known commitment to uplifting Ugandan youth through platforms that showcase discipline, resilience, and talent.

The Chief Muzzukulu’s support for Kanaabi echoes ONC’s broader vision of nurturing Uganda’s future stars beyond politics, business, and academia.
