Umukuka III to feed over one million students at historic educational conference

Namisindwa, Uganda:- The Umukuka III of the Bamasaaba people, His Highness Jude Mike Mudoma, is set to feed more than one million students, parents, and teachers during the upcoming Educational Conference.

The biennial symposium will unite over one million Bamaasaba from Namisindwa District and beyond.

Several school leaders and stakeholders have welcomed the initiative, hailing it as a major step forward for education in the Bugisu region.

Speaking on behalf of Namisindwa schools, the headteachers of Situmi Primary School and St. Stephen’s High School confirmed their full readiness to participate in the conference.

Father Wandera of Situmi Catholic Church expressed the church’s full support for the Umukuka’s efforts in advancing education.

Steven Masiga, spokesperson for the Bugisu cultural institution, emphasized the significance of the event, saying the Umukuka will feed and address his bebetsulu (grandchildren) during the conference.

Masiga was joined by Hon. Irene Manghali, Umukuka’s special envoy for mobilization, who has been actively engaging schools across the region ahead of the event.
