Special Presidential Advisor Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo shares a light moment with gospel stars Desire Luzinda and Levixone during their traditional introduction ceremony in Matugga.

Wakiso, Uganda: The much-anticipated celebrity introduction ceremony between gospel music stars Levixone (real name Sam Lucas Lubyogo) and Desire Luzinda was nothing other than a colourful ceremony defined by glamour and glitz, drawing family, friends, and top entertainment personalities.

The event, held Tuesday, August 12, at Luzinda’s parents’ home in Matugga, was graced by Special Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, among the distinguished guests.

In her remarks, SPA Namyalo, who spoke briefly of her school days with Desire, urged the couple to anchor their marriage on faith in God and strong moral character. She encouraged them to pay no attention to detractors, saying, “Ignore naysayers whose work is to bring you down.”

The ONC Manager also used the platform to remind guests about next year’s presidential election, emphasizing the importance of supporting President Yoweri Museveni, whom she described as the best choice for Uganda’s future.

As a gesture of goodwill, Hajjat Namyalo gifted the couple a cash contribution exceeding USD 3,000, while several performing artists at the function also benefited from her generosity.
