Masaka, Uganda: Wanted Presidential Advisor and Masaka Woman MP NRM Flag Holder, Ms Justine Nameere, has opened up on the full-figure beating incident, accusing police of bias in handling complaints against fellow Presidential advisor Jennifer Nakangubi, popularly known as Full Figure.

Ms Nameere, who is jointly accused with her husband of alleged robbery of a mobile phone and Shs500,000 from Full Figure, claims police have acted swiftly on complaints filed by Full Figure while ignoring other victims who have reported similar incidents against her.

Speaking on her X handle (formerly Twitter), the former Bukedde TV Media Personality said Full Figure has manipulated the narrative. “She first told the police that I hired goons who held her in a dark corner and that I stabbed her several times. Later, she changed her story, claiming my husband beat her. She is forcing me into her escapades because I am her latest victim,” Ms Nameere wrote.

“If you want to find out who really beat Full Figure, look at all the victims she has caused pain to, who have opened cases at the police, yet nothing has been done. Beneath the celebrations lies a community that needs to heal,” she added.

The Masaka businesswoman, who is also daughter of former Minister Vincent Ssempijja, urged police and other authorities to investigate all cases comprehensively, noting that Full Figure allegedly slaps complainants while officers reportedly watch.

In a related development, Uganda Police spokesperson Mr. Kituuma Rusokewhile addressing the media on Monday at Naguru, said over the weekend, social media videos showed individuals assaulting a person believed to be Full Figure. The victim would later report the alleged robbery and assault to the police, where the matter is under investigation.

“Our routines are clear. Anyone accused must explain themselves. If evidence is sufficient, suspects will be processed in court like any other offender,” Mr. Rusoke said.

The rivalry between Nameere and Full Figure, both presidential advisers, intensified during the NRM Central Region CEC elections, where the former supported businessman Moses Karangwa, while Full Figure campaigned for Minister Haruna Kasolo, who eventually won the polls.

The dispute, which began with social media exchanges between supporters, escalated into a physical confrontation on Friday. Police intervened after viral videos showed Full Figure being attacked by two men, while a woman’s voice claimed she had abused her husband.

Full Figure was rushed to Nakasero Hospital, treated for facial injuries, and admitted for further care.
