A security guard in Soroti City has won over UGX 250 million through Uganda Bettors Association fixed games.
The guard, who works with one of the private security companies in Uganda, revealed that he was inspired by a student who had also won millions from the same association.
“I was highly motivated by a student who won a lot of money from Uganda Bettors Association. I read his story and imagined it was me. I was inspired, and after a few days, I gathered all my savings and subscribed to fixed games,” he said.
Before subscribing, he contacted the association for guidance on how to pay. “They guided me well on the payment process. I even asked them to stake on my behalf since I saw the student had done the same to avoid mistakes. They staked for me, and after winning, they sent me a screenshot of the ticket showing how much I had won and later asked for my bank details to deposit the money,” he explained.
The guard, who had been struggling financially, said this win was life-changing.
“I have suffered financially. I have many debts, and my salary was never enough to pay them off. Life had been hell for me. But I want to thank Uganda Bettors Association for finally changing my life. With this money, my life will never be the same again, and I am going to invest it wisely,” he added.
