Kampala, Uganda: The Special Senior Presidential Advisor on Greater Masaka Region Affairs, Mrs Justine Nameere Nsubuga, last week presented herself to Kampala Central Police Station over allegations of assaulting presidential advisor Jennifer Nakangubi, popularly known as Full Figure.
The development was confirmed by events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, alias Abtex, who revealed during a phone interview on Kasuku Live Vlog that Nameere had honored the police summons on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
While details of Nameere’s interrogation remain unclear, as police have not yet issued an official statement, sources indicate that the summons are linked to a broader investigation into a physical altercation involving Full Figure.
Over the weekend, events promoter Nobat Events was also arrested in connection with the incident. He was picked up at Kololo Independence Grounds during a bodaboda riders’ celebration of President Yoweri Museveni’s 81st birthday and detained at Kampala Central Police Station.
Nobat later recorded and shared an audio message revealing details of his arrest, before Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigire, also confirmed Nobat’s detention but clarified that no charges had been brought against him.
“We believe he knows something about what happened that day when Full Figure was attacked,” Owoyesigire said. “We haven’t opened any charges against him; we just brought him in to assist with our investigation.”
Police added that Nobat could be released on bond depending on his cooperation during questioning.
