Kampala, Uganda: It was glitz, glamour, and pure Ugandan pride on Saturday night as celebrated hip-hop legend Daniel Lubwama Kigozi, popularly known as Navio, staged his first-ever Music Orchestra Concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel — marking ten years of dominance in the Ugandan and East African entertainment scene.
The star-studded event drew an elite crowd of artists, business figures, and dignitaries, but it was Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC)–Kyambogo and Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, who became one of the night’s highlights.
Popularly known as Chief Muzzukulu, Hajjat Namyalo electrified the venue with her vibrant energy and infectious vibe as cameras often flashed at her joyfully singing along to Navio’s all-time classics such as Njogereza, Ngalo, and Nawuliranga, attracting cheers and applause from the ecstatic audience.

In one of the evening’s most memorable moments, Hajjat Namyalo, known for her electric vibes, was invited on stage to lead the crowd in singing Happy Birthday to one of the guests, and to the crowd’s surprise, her melodious voice filled the Serena auditorium, leaving many in awe of her hidden vocal talent.
Navio’s Orchestra Hip-Hop Experience was a first of its kind in Uganda; a fusion of classical live instrumentation and Ugandan rap that elevated the genre to new artistic heights.

The show featured powerhouse performances from Benon of Swangz Avenue, Michael Viboyo, The Mith, Big Trill, Babaluku, Eddy Kenzo, Cindy Sanyu, and Levixone, among others.
Beyond the music, the night carried a deeper message of unity, empowerment, and the celebration of Ugandan creativity, a spirit that aligns with Hajjat Namyalo’s consistent advocacy for empowering Bazzukulu and protecting Uganda’s creative industry under the visionary leadership of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni (Jajja).
