Kampala, Uganda: The Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs and Office of the NRM National Chairman Manager, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, has called on residents of Kampala to elect leaders committed to genuine service delivery and community empowerment.
Hajjat, also profoundly known as the Chief Muzzukulu, made the appeal today, Thursday 9th October, while officiating at a cycling race held in Kulambiro, Nakawa West, organized to commemorate Uganda’s 63rd Independence Anniversary.
The SPA said Uganda’s independence must be reflected not only in political freedom but also in responsible leadership that prioritizes the wellbeing of ordinary citizens.
“Kampalans must choose leaders who serve the people, not those who only seek personal gain. We need action-oriented leaders who understand the struggles of our communities and are ready to deliver,” she emphasized.

The Independence-themed cycling event attracted hundreds of youth and local residents, aiming to promote unity, fitness, and patriotism among city dwellers.
Hajjat Namyalo commended the organizers for using sports as a platform for community engagement and youth participation, saying the initiative aligns with the vision of the NRM National Chairman, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, to build a healthy, productive, and empowered citizenry.

She also urged young people to remain focused, disciplined, and innovative as they contribute to Uganda’s development. “Our independence will only have meaning when young people take charge of their destiny, work hard, and support ongoing efforts to transform Uganda,” she added.
The event was attended by local leaders, sports enthusiasts, and members of the community.
