Kampala, Uganda: President Museveni’s Chief Muzzukulu and Senior Presidential Advisor (SPA) on Political Affairs, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, has endorsed the Tonta NRM United Voice, a pressure group of Bazzukulu ba Jajja, urging them to join fellow Bazzukulu in protecting the ruling party’s votes in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.
The endorsement happened Thursday, November 06, as the group paid a courtesy visit to Hajjat at the ONC headquarters in Kyambogo, to appreciate her for championing the empowerment of youth and mobilizing Bazzukulu back to the NRM’s fold through her dynamic leadership as Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC).
During the visit, Alex Nabasa, the CEO and National Coordinator Tonta NRM United Voice, extended a special invitation to Hajjat Namyalo to come and officiate as the Chief Guest as the group officially launches in Kampala next week, Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
“We have come to appreciate your unwavering commitment to empowering the Bazzukulu and keeping us united behind Jajja. Your work at ONC has inspired us to form this group to mobilize the youth across the country under one voice,” Nabasa said.
He also clarified that the group operates independently and warned the public against individuals masquerading as Tonta NRM representatives. “We want to put it on record that Tonta NRM United Voice is led solely by our recognized leadership. Any other persons using our name are impostors,” Nabasa added.
In response, Hajjat Namyalo commended the group’s discipline and patriotism, accepting their invitation to preside over the launch.
“I am happy to associate with focused youth like you who are driven by ideology and loyalty. Yes, I will be with you at the launch, and I call upon all Bazzukulu to turn up in large numbers. This group will form part of the strong front to defend Jajja’s votes come 2026,” she said.
The Chief Muzzukulu, however, cautioned against opportunistic cadres forming fake groups for selfish gain, warning that such individuals will be exposed.
“We know them; the ones forming fake mobilization groups just to eat money in Jajja’s name. Their days are numbered because the youth have opened their eyes. Real mobilization is about results, not self-enrichment,” Namyalo emphasized.
Tonta NRM spokesperson, Magezi Paul, led a prayer session for Hajjat Namyalo and the ONC Vote Protection Unit, asking for strength and divine guidance as they continue their mobilization work ahead of the 2026 elections.

The ONC Vote Protection Unit, under the leadership of Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, is a force of patriotic bazzukulu created to safeguard President Museveni’s votes from the grassroots to the national tally center.
Operating under President Museveni’s Office of the National Chairman (NRM), the Unit plays a central role in mobilization, political education, and coordination of Bazzukulu ba Jajja ahead of the 2026 general elections.
The Unit’s primary tasks include monitoring polling stations, curbing electoral malpractice, and ensuring that Jajja Museveni’s votes are protected from manipulation or rigging attempts. It also supports the formation of grassroots youth teams and mobilization cells to strengthen the ruling party’s presence across all districts.
Together with groups like Tonta NRM United Voice, the Vote Protection Unit has become the heartbeat of ONC’s election strategy; creating a well-coordinated network of youth mobilizers, entrepreneurs, and digital communicators dedicated to securing Museveni’s re-election and promoting NRM’s ideology of unity, peace, and prosperity.
