Ruparelia Foundation to Support Vulnerable Communities in Rajiv Memorial Christmas Drive

Kampala, Uganda: The Ruparelia Foundation has launched its annual Christmas charity outreach, this time held in honour of the late Rajiv Ruparelia, whose legacy of generosity and compassion continues to inspire philanthropic work across Uganda.

The Foundation, renowned for its long-standing contributions to education, healthcare and community empowerment, said the 2025 Christmas drive aims to bring joy to vulnerable children and families in orphanages and community centres across Kampala and surrounding communities.

In a statement, the Foundation noted that “Rajiv Ruparelia’s laughter lives in every heart he touched. This Christmas, we honour him by spreading love, joy and hope to the communities that meant so much to him.”

The charity events will run from 5th to 13th December 2025 under the Stanbic Pamoja partnership.

The schedule is as follows:

  • 5th December, 3 PM – Ghetto Research Lab, Mulago–Kamwokya
  • 6th December, 10 AM – Chrystal Children’s Centre, Sebuliba Kitale
  • 12th December, 10 AM – Ekikalu Community, Kyebando
  • 13th December, 10 AM – King’s Ways Academy Junior School, Nansana Town Village

The Foundation is calling upon the public to participate through donations or volunteer work. Only clean and usable items will be accepted, with drop-offs at Kabira Country Club reception.

The annual initiative reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to uplifting communities and ensuring the spirit of Christmas reaches those most in need.
