ISU, Kabojja top Uganda’s 2025 private schools ranking

Kampala, Uganda: The International School of Uganda (ISU) and Kabojja International School (KIS) have emerged among Uganda’s leading private education institutions in the 2025 private schools ranking released by Schoolbell.net, a global education discovery and rankings platform.

According to the ranking published on December 25, the International School of Uganda (ISU) topped the national list with a perfect contextual reputation score of 100.0, while Kabojja International School ranked third overall with a score of 98.9, reaffirming their strong standing in Uganda’s competitive private education sector.

The ranking assesses private schools using contextual reputation scores, a data-driven measure that reflects online visibility, credibility, community trust and perceived educational quality, rather than examination results alone.

Kampala International School Uganda (KISU) followed closely behind ISU in second place with a score of 99.7, while Heritage International School (97.5) and OrchardsWood International School (95.7) completed the top five.

Schoolbell.net, in a press statement, said the annual rankings are intended to help parents and guardians navigate Uganda’s expanding private education landscape by highlighting schools with consistent reputational strength and trusted learning environments.

“Private education in Uganda continues to evolve, offering families a wide range of high-quality academic options,” Schoolbell.net said in a statement. “Our 2025 rankings spotlight schools that demonstrate strong reputations, dependable standards and community confidence.”

The remainder of the top ten includes Quality International School (93.3), Emma High School (90.4), Grace Project International School (87.0), Acorns International School (83.0) and Tasaaga Primary School (75.0).
