The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) has deregistered 50,003 companies for failing to restore their status after being struck off for not complying with filing requirements. Despite multiple warnings, these companies did not meet the restoration deadline. This action aims to enhance corporate governance and remove non-compliant entities from the registry.
