A prominent pastor in Soroti City has reportedly stunned his congregation and the wider community after winning more than UGX 500 million through fixed sports betting games provided by the Uganda Bettors Association.
The pastor, whose identity has been withheld for privacy and security reasons, revealed that he believes his financial breakthrough was inspired by divine guidance.
According to his testimony, the journey began with a vivid dream that motivated him to explore sports betting.
“I once had a dream in which I saw myself surrounded by millions of shillings, but I did not understand where the money had come from. Later, I felt compelled to search for information about the Uganda Bettors Association. At first, I did not know what they did, but I discovered that they provided fixed games,” he explained.
He added that despite having no prior experience in betting, he decided to take a step of faith.
“I immediately subscribed for their fixed games and requested them to place the bets on my behalf since I had no knowledge of betting. They staked for me and sent me a ticket as confirmation. After that, I went on with my day, reading my Bible and praying,” he said.
The pastor further narrated that later that night, he received unexpected news.
“Around midnight, I received a message from one of the administrators informing me that the ticket had won. I was overwhelmed and could not sleep that night,” he testified.
“My wife asked me if everything was okay, and I assured her that it was. The following morning, I submitted my bank details, and shortly after, the money was deposited into my account. Even then, I struggled to believe it until I withdrew UGX 10 million as a test,” he added.
The Uganda Bettors Association has, in recent years, gained significant online attention for providing betting tips and accurate fixed games. Many users claim that the platform has helped them achieve financial stability through sports betting.
