Joy as Kampala Parents School records impressive performance in 2025 PLE

Kampala Parents School has once again posted a strong performance in the 2025 PLE as early results spark celebrations among pupils, parents and teachers.

Kampala, Uganda: Kampala Parents’ School has once again registered a strong showing in the 2025 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE), as scenes of jubilation swept through the school following the release of the national results on Friday.

Although the school had not released its full performance breakdown by press time, the mood at the campus reflected confidence and celebration, with parents arriving intermittently to congratulate teachers as pupils shared early success stories.

The school’s Principal, Mrs Daphine Kato, confirmed that the results had been received and were undergoing final internal scrutiny before formal publication.

“We have received the results. However, we shall officially share the full details with the media tomorrow after fully scrutinising, analysing and carefully tallying them,” Kato said.

Early Success Stories Emerge

Even as the school finalised its official results, individual achievements began to surface among candidates and parents celebrating strong outcomes.

One jubilant candidate, Byaruhanga Noel Christian, who scored five aggregates, attributed his performance to discipline, sustained revision and support from teachers and family.

“I revised a lot, including late nights. It was hard, but I thank God, my parents and my teachers for supporting me throughout the journey,” Noel said.

He added that he hopes to join St Mary’s College Kisubi and pursue a career in law.

Noel’s father, Mr Kenneth Byaruhanga, described the results as a proud milestone for the family. “We are very happy and excited. Noel put in a lot of effort from the beginning and trusted in God. The teachers also did their part to ensure he succeeded, and we are grateful,” he said.

His mother, Merab Byaruhanga Birungi, said the family remains committed to supporting their son’s academic journey. “We shall continue to provide the right environment, skills and resources he needs to excel. We sincerely thank all the teachers who supported us throughout this journey,” she said.

Teachers at Kampala Parents School described the celebratory atmosphere as one of quiet confidence rather than surprise, noting that candidates had been closely guided and monitored throughout the academic year.

The Principal said the excitement reflected collective effort and discipline across the school community. “What you are seeing is the result of teamwork between learners, teachers and parents. The celebrations are a natural outcome of hard work and consistency,” she said.

Kampala Parents School has over the years maintained a reputation as one of Uganda’s leading primary schools, frequently posting strong performances in national examinations.

The school is expected to officially release and explain its full 2025 PLE results after the completion of the internal review process.
