TotalEnergies, EACOP consolidate Kampala offices at Sudhir’s RR Pearl Tower

TotalEnergies and the EACOP Company have consolidated their Ugandan operations at RR Pearl Tower One in Kampala, boosting coordination for the Tilenga oil project and pipeline.

Kampala, Uganda: TotalEnergies and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline Company have fully relocated their Ugandan operations to RR Pearl Tower One, a prime commercial building in Kampala’s central business district owned by property mogul and city businessman Sudhir Ruparelia.

The move brings together TotalEnergies EP Uganda, TotalEnergies Marketing and Services Uganda, and EACOP under one roof at the newly developed tower on Plot 1, Yusuf Lule Road, ending years of operating from multiple locations across the city.

Previously, TotalEnergies EP Uganda and EACOP were housed at Course View Towers along Yusuf Lule Road, while TotalEnergies Marketing and Services Uganda operated from 8th Street in the Industrial Area.

By consolidating operations at RR Pearl Tower One, the energy firms have eliminated operational fragmentation, a shift expected to enhance coordination, accelerate decision-making and strengthen internal alignment across business units involved in Uganda’s oil and gas developments.

RR Pearl Tower One offers a modern, energy-efficient workspace designed to meet the demands of large-scale corporate operations. The building features flexible office layouts, shared meeting facilities and sustainability-focused infrastructure aligned with TotalEnergies’ global operational standards.

Its location in Kampala’s city centre is also expected to improve access to key stakeholders, including government ministries, regulators, suppliers, financiers and project partners involved in Uganda’s upstream and midstream petroleum projects.

The relocation reflects TotalEnergies’ integrated operational approach as it advances the Tilenga oil project and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, two multi-billion-dollar ventures that form the backbone of Uganda’s emerging oil industry.

Housing technical, commercial and project management teams in a single location is expected to improve collaboration and execution efficiency, particularly as the projects move deeper into development and construction phases.
