Kampala, Uganda: Court in Kampala has remanded to Luzira Prison, a 22-year-old security guard charged with rape, murder and aggravated robbery in the brutal killing of TikToker and content creator Diana Namulinde, popularly known as Diana SkyZ.

Marvin Webisa, who was attached to Gibeon Security System and deployed to guard an apartment complex in Kyanja-Kwata Zone where the deceased resided, appeared before the Kampala City Hall Court on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

The accused was presented before Grade One Magistrate Nicholas Aisu, who read to him three capital offences arising from the death of the social media personality.

According to the prosecution, Webisa and others still at large, allegedly robbed Namulinde on February 4, 2026, at Kyanja-Kwata Zone in Kampala District. The State alleges that items worth more than Shs18 million were stolen.

The charge sheet lists the stolen property as including an iPhone 17 Pro Max, a Samsung Galaxy A15, a power bank, AirPods, a black laptop bag, 19 small handbags of different colours, a white suitcase, a brown suitcase, seven T-shirts, two pairs of canvas shoes, four pairs of flat shoes, 11 pairs of high heels, two pairs of boots and a pair of purple shoes.

“…and immediately before or immediately after the time of the said robbery, murdered the said Namulinde Diana,” part of the court document reads.

Under the rape charge, the prosecution contends that Webisa unlawfully had carnal knowledge of the deceased without her consent on the same day. In the third count, the State alleges that he unlawfully caused Namulinde’s death with malice aforethought.

Namulinde’s body was recovered from her apartment in Kyanja before police arrested the suspect. Investigators reportedly linked Webisa to the crime after some of the suspected stolen items were allegedly found in his possession.

Magistrate Aisu informed the accused that the offences are capital in nature and triable only by the High Court. He was therefore not allowed to enter a plea.

Webisa was remanded to Luzira Prison until March 3, 2026, as investigations continue.

Under Ugandan law, the offences of murder, rape and aggravated robbery attract a maximum sentence of death upon conviction.
