Kampala, Uganda: The Ruparelia Group is set to officially unveil a major expansion of Kabira Country Club in Bukoto, a landmark upgrade expected to redefine luxury hospitality and executive living in the capital.

Rising prominently in Bukoto, the new multi-level complex marks one of the most ambitious developments in the club’s history. Long recognised as a premier destination for leisure, fitness and accommodation, Kabira Country Club is now positioning itself as a fully integrated lifestyle and business hub tailored to a growing high-end market.

The striking structure features bold geometric lines, expansive glass façades and terraced balconies that blend contemporary design with a relaxed tropical ambience. The architecture maximises natural light while offering sweeping views of Kampala’s greenery, reinforcing the resort-inspired identity that has defined the property for years.

Sources familiar with the project indicate that construction has entered its final phase, with interior finishing and landscaping works progressing ahead of an official launch expected soon.

The expansion is set to introduce premium serviced apartments, executive suites, upgraded wellness facilities and enhanced conference amenities designed for corporate clients, expatriates and long-stay business travellers. By combining residential comfort with hotel-grade services, the development is expected to further position Kampala as a regional destination for conferences, investment and tourism.

Industry analysts say the move aligns with the broader investment strategy of the Ruparelia Group, one of Uganda’s largest private conglomerates, which continues to expand its footprint in real estate and hospitality amid sustained demand for upscale accommodation and mixed-use leisure facilities.

The project is also anticipated to generate employment opportunities and stimulate economic activity within the Bukoto and greater Kampala area.

As final touches are applied, anticipation is mounting ahead of the official unveiling, with stakeholders describing the expansion as a bold statement of confidence in Uganda’s luxury hospitality landscape.
