FUFA has confirmed the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 16 fixtures with SC Villa facing Maroons and defending champions Vipers SC drawn against Iganga United.

Kampala, Uganda: The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed the Round of 16 fixtures for the 2025/26 Stanbic Uganda Cup, setting up several high-profile clashes as teams battle for a place in the quarterfinals.

The draw was conducted on Thursday morning at FUFA House in Mengo, with eight clubs set to progress to the quarterfinal stage of Uganda’s oldest knockout football competition.

One of the standout ties will see two StarTimes Uganda Premier League sides, SC Villa and Maroons FC, face off in a heavyweight encounter.

Defending champions Vipers SC have been drawn against FUFA Big League side Iganga United FC at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, while KCCA FC will host Onduparaka FC in another intriguing tie between top-flight and second-tier opposition.

Full Round of 16 Fixtures

The Round of 16 features clubs from multiple levels of Ugandan football, with the StarTimes Uganda Premier League represented by SC Villa, Maroons FC, KCCA FC, Vipers SC, Express FC, URA FC, NEC FC, Kitara FC and Lugazi FC.

From the FUFA Big League, the remaining teams include Onduparaka FC, Iganga United FC and Bunyaruguru United FC.

Lower-division regional sides still in contention include Red Devo FC (Northern Region), Happy Boys Kagaba FC (Buganda Region), Tapo United FC (North-East Region) and Six O’Clock FC (Western Region).

The winner of the Stanbic Uganda Cup will represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup, Africa’s second-tier continental club competition.
