Kampala, Uganda: The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has confirmed that the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results will be officially released on Friday, March 13, 2026.
According to the examinations body, the results will be announced at 11:00 AM during an official function at State House Nakasero, where the Minister of Education and Sports will preside over the release.
The announcement sets the stage for thousands of candidates across the country who sat the national examinations in 2025 to receive their results, which determine eligibility for university and other tertiary education opportunities.

A total of 166,402 candidates registered to sit for the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) exams, representing a 14.6% increase from the previous year. This included 93,630 males (56%) and 77,772 females (44%).
The 2025 UACE Results examinations mark the final stage of Uganda’s secondary education system and are a key requirement for admission to universities, degree-awarding institutions and other higher education programmes.
Following the official release, UNEB is expected to provide multiple platforms for candidates to access their results, including school notice boards and digital result-checking systems.
Schools across the country have also begun preparing to receive and display the results for candidates.
